For the first time in its nearly 80-year history, Fender is introducing a signature bass and signature guitar for the same band, released simultaneously.
The Limited Edition Mark Speer Stratocaster and the Limited Edition Laura Lee Jazz Bass deliver distinctive tone and style inspired by Khruangbin’s genre-defying sound.
“We’ve been trying to cultivate our music to be classic in the sense of not adhering to a specific year or point in time,” says Lee.
“And the look and feel of this instrument is that way to me.” Speer adds, “[Fender guitars and basses are] in every genre all across the world. They’re not nostalgic, they’re not futuristic – they’re all those things.”
The instruments are available to purchase for $1,499.99 USD / €1,599 EUR each.
